Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor high-temperature smelting furnaces (including electric arc and reverberatory furnaces) to ensure optimal metal recovery rates
- Conduct real-time quality control tests (XRF, spectrometry) to monitor alloy composition and purity
- Implement strict safety protocols for handling molten metal, hazardous chemicals, and high-pressure systems
- Maintain and troubleshoot smelting equipment (crucibles, ladles, casting machines) to minimize downtime
- Document production metrics, material consumption, and environmental compliance data
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize smelting parameters for efficiency and emission reduction
- Train junior operators on standard operating procedures and emergency response drills
Kualifikasi
- Minimum D3 degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years hands-on experience in non-ferrous metal smelting operations (aluminum, copper, zinc)
- Certification in OHS K3 Industri and hazardous materials handling
- Proficiency in operating industrial furnace control systems (Siemens PLC, Honeywell)
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting metallurgical test results and process data
- Physical ability to work in high-temperature environments and wear full PPE (heat-resistant suit, face shield)
- Knowledge of environmental regulations (KLH) and emission control systems
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia with basic English technical terminology
